Chapter 9 – The 7th Best Pilot In The Army Air Corps

God Has Given Approval — Chapter 9 is dedicated to the courageous Christian soldiers!

But those who trust THE LORD
    will find new strength.
They will be strong like eagles
    soaring upward on wings

Isaiah 40:31a (CEV)

Lewis Frasier Osborne was in college studying to be an architect at the University of Cincinnati when he joined the military during World War II.

He lost only one fight as an amateur boxer.

When Lewis Osborne was a U. S. Army Private,
he was unfairly ridden beyond discipline by a Sergeant Sorry.

Lewis Osborne challenged the sergeant to a boxing match.

After Lewis Osborne beat him up and won in the ring,
Sergeant Sorry immediately stopped his antics against Lewis Osborne.

After this,
the U. S. Army promoted Lewis Osborne to officer training school.

After his training,
he became a famous pilot.

The generals had him fly them to where they needed to go in dangerous weather.

Lewis Osborne was sent by the military to Europe, Africa,
and then Asia.

After World War II Lewis Osborne,
though in the military,
was made hotel manager for the tallest hotel in Shanghai, China.

The military wanted him to stay in China and he was offered an increase in military rank,
but he declined,
because it had been too long since he had seen his wife on the other side of the world,

Mrs. Phoebe Colbert Osborne is his wife,
who you will see later in the film and was in a movie with Russ Tamblyn
(who was with Victor Mature in Cecil B. DeMille’s “Samson and Delilah”,
John Wayne in the Cinerama “How The West Was Won”,
and was head of the Jets in the Academy Award Best Picture of the Year “West Side Story”).

Toward the end of The 7th Best Pilot In The Army Air Corp Movie is the wedding between Charles Woodyard
(who was a tailgunner against the Nazis in Europe)
from Williamstown, Kentucky
[where Ken Ham from Australia built the 800 acre Ark Encounter theme park]
and later Charles Woodyard was the contractor,
who put the lighting in the former Fulton County Stadium and some of the skyscrapers in Atlanta, Georgia,
and Mrs. Phoebe Colbert Osborne’s sister,
his bride and wife Marian Colbert Woodyard,
who later gave tours of the Georgia Governor’s Mansion,
while Jimmy Carter was governor,
and she later campaigned for Ronald Reagan.

There are other notable people in this movie,
as well.

The vintage aircraft has been popular with historians who have enjoyed the movie,
and I was told to leave any diagonal lines in the movie,
because of the authenticity.

The last full scene is Lewis Osborne getting into a fighter plane.

Lewis Osborne and Phoebe Colbert Osborne are my parents,
Brother Phil Osborne.

There is a moment of silence at the end of the movie.

The main Music with the 7th Best Pilot In The Army Air Corps movie is played,
Sung, and mostly written by Brenda  Sheets,
which she made in Arizona for me — and now for this historical film.

A pastor,
who owned 7 radio stations,
told me her music is Anointed
(from God),
even though I knew this years before.

I first met Brenda at a church I was visiting in Newport, Kentucky.

She is blind since birth.

Her Music also touched my soul.

She was on her way to Arizona from New York City,
where she had  been in worship services with Christian Russian legal immigrants.

+

When Brenda was a teenager she was not a Christian and was taking illegal drugs;
but, fortunately,
she stopped sinning,
asked God, The Father for forgiveness,
successfully asked Jesus, The Faithful And True Witness into her heart.

She was involved in the beginning of Teen Challenge.

David Wilkerson was from a different part of the country and read about the violent street gangs of  New York City.

He decided to stop it,
so he traveled with God to New York City and confronted the gangs with the Gospel.

Much is history now and many gang members got Saved.

[A movie was made about him,
“The Cross And The Switchblade” with Pat Boone starring as David Wilkerson.]

David Wilkerson founded Teen Challenge,
which is now across the country,
because the success rate of getting people off of hard core drugs has been around 90%,
because the Savior, Jesus is involved in it.

After this The Comforter, The Holy Spirit worked a Miracle and had Brenda Sheets supernaturally speak in Hebrew!

She did not know what she was saying until someone,
who knew Hebrew
(a complex language),
told her what she was saying.

She went to Israel and learned in just a few months Hebrew fluently!

And even after this,
The Holy Spirit worked another Miracle for her and had Brenda supernaturally speak Russian!

Again she did not know what she was speaking but it was Russian!

With the Help Of The Holy Spirit she knows Russian
(another complex language) fluently!

This obedient to Jesus woman went to Israel,
when a multitude of Jews were allowed to finally leave the Soviet Union to Israel.

These many Russian Jews did not know Israel’s language, Hebrew,
nor did they know Jesus, Yeshua, The Messiah, The Christ personally before entering Israel.

Guess who checked these Russian immigrants into Israel?

Brenda Sheets!
who knew Russian,
knew Hebrew,
and was a fine witness for Jesus, Yeshua!

Brenda Sheets changed world history by the Power Of  God!

Sid Roth, founder and host of It’s Supernatural a top TV show around the world, has rightfully said that of all the Jewish groups — the group with the largest percentage of Christians is the Jews and their descendants that left Russia!

Thank You, God, The Father,
thank You, Jesus, The Lord Of Lords,
thank You, The Holy Spirit,
and thank you, Brenda Sheets, blind since birth!

Brenda Sheets Sings these Miracle Songs from her soul.

+

The last Song in the movie is written and Sung by Linda Remley,
whose husband,
Rick Remley,
is a hero becoming disabled saving someone else.

___

Mrs. Cora Osborne,
my Grandmother,
was giving birth in her house,
when the fiendish doctor told her:
He’s too big for you — let me slice him up.

She would not let her baby be killed and made it known she would die for her child.

Lewis Osborne was then born in the house of his parents,
Samuel & Cora Osborne,
and became the famous 7th best pilot and later settled in Northern Kentucky,
where he later fought the Mafia.

Less than a half of a mile from the house where Lewis Osborne was born,
a movie was filmed that was nominated for the Academy Awards for Best Cinematography,
Best Art Director,
Best Music,
and Best Film Editing.

The movie won the Academy Award for Best Writing for a Screen Play,
the Academy Award for Best Director,
the Academy Award for Best Actor,
and the Academy Award for Best Picture.

Mrs. Cora Osborne lived to be 60 to 70 years old.

You will see her,
in Reel Twelve of The 7th Best Pilot In The Army Air Corp Movie,
being handed the handle of a garden tool,
and it appears to be on a well deserved Mother’s Day.

Love and Honor.

+

Why do I have this honor,
that the mother of my LORD should come to me?
As soon as I heard your greeting,
the baby in my womb jumped for joy.

Luke 1:43, 44 (CEB)

Yet YOU desired faithfulness even in the womb;
YOU taught me wisdom in that secret place.

Psalm 51:6 (NIV)

+

Phil Keaggy won the international Dove Award for the Instrumental Album of the Year for 7 years.

Phil Keaggy Sings this violent Song in such a way that we can relate to the baby and GOD:

+

+

Praise The Lord!

Sing to The Lord a new song,
and His praise in the assembly of saints.

Psalm 149:1 (NKJV)

Mr. & Mrs. (Phoebe) Lewis Osborne settled into Fort Thomas, Kentucky,
which is next to the Ohio River and above the Lunken Airport.

Down river,
next to Fort Thomas,
is Newport, Kentucky,
which was notorious for stupid criminals.

Al Capone’s evil Chicago gangsters infested Newport in the 1920s.

While Fort Thomas was the safest place to live in greater Cincinnati,
Newport was not.

The Syndicate’s gangsters from Cleveland,
a branch of the Mafia, replaced Al Capone’s gangsters, and
controlled Newport.

In the 1960’s the gangsters were openly carrying Tommy guns in Newport.

My parents,
Lewis & Phoebe Osborne had had enough.

They met with their neighbors and they brought in an outsider,
George Ratterman,
a former quarterback for the Cleveland Browns,
to run for sheriff of the county.

+

The government,
including the Campbell County sheriff and its deputies
and the Newport police and government,
betrayed the citizens they were to protect and did the opposite by taking bribes of money, sex,
and material from the Mafia Syndicate.

(Since the increased international travel during the continuing sinful sexual “revolution” against GOD,
there are over 50 different sexually transmitted diseases in the United States in 2025 AD
[according to the nationally famous Cleveland Clinic],
which are horrible and too many are deadly).

Back then in the 1960’s,
there was only the nasty gonorrhea (“clap”)
and syphilis (which eats out the brain).

A number of the corrupt policemen and government officials deservedly got gonorrhea and syphilis from the prostitutes as “favors” from the gangsters.

One of the gangsters name  was “Screw” Andrews.

+

Will You permit a corrupt government to rule under Your protection — a government permitting wrong to defeat right?

Psalm 94:20 (TLB)

+

The Syndicate tried to frame George Ratterman,
but the people voted,
and he won the honest election,
(no electronic tabulation)
and brought about sweeping changes.

The Syndicate was forced to leave Kentucky taking, The Flamingo,
The Stardust,
and their Tommy guns with them.

Henry Hosea (his son was my fraternity brother) and a number of other Christians in Fort Thomas and Newport had a great deal to do with the success with Lewis and Phoebe Osborne.

United States Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy came down to Newport,
when the glory was going on from the defeat of the gangsters.

US AG Bobby Kennedy hand-typed an after hours letter to Lewis Osborne.

+

Mrs. Phoebe Osborne was head of an elementary 5th grade for years into the 1990’s,
loved the children,
and had full books of the Bible in her classroom,
even though the government did not like it.

She was 5 hours in credits away from starting a thesis for a PhD.

Once she became sick and her students came 2 miles from the school to her home and gave her love notes.

+

Mr. Lewis Osborne became an elder in his church.

He has been honored by a number of countries,
and a number of his belongings are in a museum in Greece.

The final and most important verse of The Star-Spangled Banner — written by Francis Scott Key:

O thus be it ever when free men shall stand,

Between their loved home and the war’s desolation;

Blest with victory and peace,

Praise THE POWER that hath made and preserved us a nation!

Then conquer we must,

  1. When my cousin became older,
    both of her ankles broke,
and she died about a month later.

    Yesterday morning, February 5, 2018 aD, my right ankle was bad and had been so for a number of days;
the ankle was turning inward, too.

Thinking about calling an orthopaedic doctor yesterday afternoon, instead I prayed to GOD — asking HIM to heal my right ankle.

Afterward, JESUS Miraculously Healed it yesterday!

    Praise to GOD!

  2. A lack of communication leads to distrust,
    which leads to anger.

Anger becomes a friend if not dealt with in a timely manner.

The more focused a person is on the trauma,
the anger will increase and the emotions stay in a turmoil.

    Anger will lead to bitterness.

    +

    Back in 1968,
just before I enlisted into the Army,
what seemed as horseplay in the old swimming hole back in Kentucky,
    almost got me drowned.

I was repeatedly held underwater and started choking,
and had it not been for a friend that intervened,
    I would have drowned.

    +

I became very angry at the one that instigated the situation.

I became consumed with the thought of revenge,
always thinking and plotting on how to fulfill my anger,
even to the point of sending word back home that when I got out of basic training,
I didn’t want to see that individual.

Not only did my anger affect me,
    it affected my brother,
who had just returned from Vietnam.

    +

Being raised in a Christian home,
the training that I had as a child,
made me realize that I was only hurting myself with this bitterness.

    +

Yes, I have experienced emotional rollercoasters through out the years.

Choosing to be angry at the situation,
but I finally applied the Holy Bible to the emotional rollercoasters.
